Objectives of the course are to broaden the knowledge of those who already deal with SMOF Masticular Orofacial Imbalance with new information that will provide insights immediately and for further clinical insights. One of the most recent specialties among language pathologies is that which has been dealing with orofacial muscle imbalances since 1970.

Since then, numerous books and scientific articles have been published and the speech therapist has become the figure responsible for the study, research, evaluation and rehabilitation of disorders of the stomatognathic system and its functions. Even the creation of the "World Day of Oral and Facial Motor Skills" (February 17) is the result of this growth and of the love and dedication that more and more speech therapists are showing. This course therefore has the mission of increasing awareness of the work that has been done so far in the field of my functional disorders, creating a network of professionals trained and united by a common language and above all hypothesizing new treatment frontiers.
